Harris Tweed Caps

Harris Tweed caps are among the best winter weight textiles and renowned for its warmth and quality.  Harris Tweed caps are produced in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and are are spun and woven by hand in the homes of local crafters.

Each Harris Tweed cap comes with a certificate of authenticity stitched into the cap.  Each year a limited number of patches are sent out depending on yeild and availability of the fabric.  There are thousands of patterns in existence, but the amount of actual fabric produced is limited.  It is a a long complicated process and only a small amount of weavers can make authentic Harris Tweed.
