Helen Kaminski creates over 200 designs each year. She finds inspiration for her creations from the natural beauty of Australia's bushland, beaches and inlands that suround her home in Sydney. Helen travels to Madagascar several times a year to personally train and participate in the workshops that exclusively make her products. The Newport wide brim straw hat is made of a fine braid raffia and has a 4" crown and a 4 1/2" brim. The brim on the Newport may either be worn up or down depending on personal preference. Underneath the cotton herringbone band, the crown holds a raffia string for easy size adjustment.
