The teardrop fedora features a crown indentation that narrows toward the front and broadens into a rounded shape at the back. Two front pinches give it definition, while the curved outline of the crown creates a softer, fuller appearance when viewed from above. Its shaped crown and surrounding brim create a balanced, classic fedora silhouette.

A single lengthwise indentation runs down the top of the crown, with pinches on either side at the front. Unlike the broader depression of a teardrop crown, this narrow center crease gives the top a more linear appearance. The defined front and clean crown shape lend this fedora a tailored, traditional character.

The safari combines a fedora’s creased crown and pinched front with a brim that typically slopes downward at both the front and back. This brim shape offers coverage around the face and neck and creates a longer, more relaxed silhouette. Its outdoor character comes from these practical proportions, with the crown retaining the familiar structure of a classic fedora.

The trilby is distinguished by its narrow brim, usually angled downward at the front and turned upward at the back. A creased crown and pinched front give it familiar fedora shaping, while the short brim keeps the overall profile compact. The pronounced lift at the rear adds a crisp, slightly jaunty finish.

The telescope crown pork pie has a low, rounded crown with a shallow circular indentation surrounding a flatter central top. Viewed from above, this crease follows the crown’s perimeter, creating a distinct raised edge. Relatively straight crown sides and a short brim, often turned upward, give the hat its compact, unmistakable profile

The diamond crown pork pie features an angular indentation that forms a diamond when viewed from above, with points extending toward the front, back, and sides.
