Belfry Italia isn't the work of a single factory. It is a collection built through relationships with accomplished Italian hatmaking workshops, each bringing its own history, specialties, and point of view.

From the historic hatmaking region surrounding Montappone to Florence and other centers of Italian craftsmanship, we work with makers whose expertise has been developed over generations.

Some specialize in traditional felt hats. Others excel in lightweight linen, raffia, contemporary shapes, or highly refined finishing.

Rather than asking every workshop to make the same thing, we work with each for what they do particularly well.
