I’m a performer and I’ve been using Derbys for at least 47 years. They have very good quality here all my Derby still look new. I would recommend this Derby if you are into hats these are the prime Derby's

Arrived in mint condition. Size of hat is perfect, just like the porkpie I recently purchased. The fit was too round, stretched into an oval shape with tennis balls and a roll of painters tape

For those of us with planetary-sized noggins, finding good hats is a real challenge. Fortunately this hat was available in XXL and I was finally able to get a bowler that fit me properly. The hat itself is hard felt and not a crushable travel hat, but instead a proper bowler/derby that requires some care. The blocking was excellent and I like the turned up sides that give it a bit more of an “Old West” rather than “British lord” feel. I ordered the blue and found it really suited me. It’s a bit darker than the website photos made it seem, but that was good as far as I was confirmed. It’s definitely not a summer hat given the wool felt and the sturdy construction. Fit and finish are excellent, with nicely bound edges and good quality lining. The internal band could perhaps be improved with a higher grade of leather, but that's a minor nit since nobody sees that except the wearer. Overall, I'm very happy to have finally found a bowler that actually fits me.

Bought the Derby in blue for an upcoming production. Changed out the lovely feathers for blue Jay feathers. Perfect!

I wanted a real green hat. I've used the cheap party versions for years, but now I make music videos, (john xavier musical journeyman) on youtube, and when I play irish music I wanted a good hat. Very nice look and color. I got one from the Village hat shop, more expensive and totally not the same quality.

Ordered two bowler hats. One Navy, one Black. The original order for the Navy hat was for an event, but it encountered some complications with delivery (no fault of hats in the belfry). When I contacted customer service they were very polite and willing to help even though it was not their fault in any way. After some verification and investigating they replaced the hat for us. During that process we ordered a black hat to replace the navy one for the event because navy was out of stock. It came quickly, and is of superior quality. Lucky for us the replacement hat arrived just in time for our event and was a big hit! Both hat are great quality and well made. Pair that with amazing customer service and I can not give higher praise to hats in the belfry.

Wonderful return/exchange experience

I ordered this hat for my brothers birthday. The first hat unfortunately got damaged during shipping. I reached out about the issue and I got an email response the same day. The next day their team had sent out a new hat. The new one arrived in perfect condition. My brother is incredibly excited to wear his new hat, and I am so glad that getting a replacement was so easy. I don't think I have ever had such a smooth customer service experience.

Have had this hat almost two months. My 70 year old birthday present to me. I steamed the brim to even things out. It runs big so I folded paper towels and put under the sweat band (custom fit). The hat is very stiff that was what I was .looking for. I have sprayed it with Scotchguard to repel rain and so far it works great. I was a little apprehensive of wareing this style hat because I've never seen anyone ware one. I have had five people tell me they like the hat and no negative comments. I was looking at the $300 Stetson Bowler but figured I'd try this one first before diving head first. After wearing this one I may not buy the Stetson.

This hat is obviously of very high quality. It was also packaged carefully and arrived in a timely manner. (NOTE: It does run a little large.)
